Dr. Susan Stone (former Dr. Susan Levinsohn) is a Family Doctor from the Syracuse area who fell in love with Integrative and Functional Medicine. After residency training in Syracuse, she completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine and trained in Medical Acupuncture at the University of Michigan. Following that training she moved to Oakland, Ca where integrative medicine is flourishing. She was fortunate to work as an integrative family doc in both low and high resource settings and was able to further develop her acupuncture skills. She is currently completing certification through the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).
In 2018, Dr. Stone and husband, Adam, returned home to Syracuse to raise their daughter, Magnolia. They are delighted to be close to her grandparents and the natural beauty of central NY. She spent 2 years working as an assistant professor at SUNY Upstate where she created a Wellness Curriculum for Family Medicine residents and co-created the Food as Medicine course for medical students. She continues to teach for these courses and loves being able to work with the next generation of doctors. She is thrilled to finally create her dream practice dedicated to Integrative and Functional Medicine in her home town! We hope that you will join me us as we create a new vision for health care that is responsive, flexible, health focused and accessible.

Julie Jensen RN, is passionate about empowering people in their health journey. Drawing upon her wealth of professional and personal experience and training through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy Julie is bringing functional health coaching to Willow Health Integrative Medicine. As a nurse, she worked as a NICU nurse in a level IV unit. There she cared for the most vulnerable and complex patients and their families. Her greatest joy in the NICU was being able to provide expert nursing care to the babies, while also educating, actively listening and providing any support needed to parents as they navigated the challenges associated with having their baby in the unit.
As a wife and mom of 3 she knows how challenging it can be to care for family and also find time to take care of oneself. She has developed a passion for nutrition and proactively seeks out ways to support health. This has lead her to Integrative and Functional Medicine where she helps clients to bridge the gap between knowing why and doing what they need to sustain healthy lifestyle changes.
